Structure

A radially split oak timber (L 0.18m; Wth 0.14m; D 0.04m) in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some natural wood. It may be associated with SMR OF010-071----, 1.2m to the SW, or displaced from SMR OF010-161---- to the S. SMR OF010-070---- is 3.8m to the SW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
