Structure

A split timber (L 0.28m; Wth 0.19m; D 0.03m) in moderately humified Sphagnum peat with some ericaceous remains and natural wood. It may be associated with SMR OF010-072----, 1.2m to the NE, or displaced from SMR OF010-161---- to the S. SMR OF010-070---- is 3.5m to the SW. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 2001. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
