Brockagh holds a rectangular stone box on a narrow ledge beneath a steep cliff, its east wall still standing while the rest has collapsed into mountain debris. The stones fit poorly and no doorway or hearth appears, leaving the true purpose hidden rather than solved. Someone may have stacked them to mark a boundary, store tools or simply resist forgetting the ledge itself.

On a ledge close to the base of a steep S-facing cliff in rough mountainous terrain. Approximately rectangular structure (dims. 3.2m N-S; 2.8m E-W – Wall T 0.9m) defined by the remains of a very poorly built drystone wall (Wth. 0.9m) composed of stones of varying sizes. It is best preserved on the E side were it is composed of a series of large stones, set on edge, augmented in places by smaller stones. The E side has largely collapsed. There is no indication of a doorway or of a hearth. The nature and function of this feature cannot be determined with any degree of confidence on the basis of the upstanding remains.
