Stone row in Long Island (carbery West (w.d) By.)

This row is situated on the S edge of a ridge of outcropping bedrock on S side of Long Island. The land falls away immediately S to a shallow valley and rises to another ridge beyond which it falls again to the sea. The row comprises three stones set in an E–W line (overall length c. 5m). The tallest of the stones (c.1m in height) is at the W end and the other two are slightly lower; the E stone has fallen over to the S (pers. comm. Ann Lynch, 22 September 2014). CO148-041----_01.jpg.
