Stone row in Derrineden

Not marked on the OS maps, this four-stone row is situated 600m NE of KE089-042---- on the lower SE slopes of Coomduff ridge, which divides the Cummeragh and Inny valleys. Orientated NE-SW, the row is 6.17m long and has been incorporated into a field boundary. The NE stone measures 1.28m x .76m x .45m. Located 1.09m to SW is the tallest stone in the row; it stands 2.65m high and measures 1.12m x .69m at base. The third and smallest stone stands 1.24m further to SW, and measures 1.2m x .51m x .31m. The fourth stone, .85m to SW again, inclines slightly to SE and measures .8m x .34m at base. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
