A stone head together with a stone basin (SL020-171011-) from the site of a possible church at Ballydawley (SL020-171001-) are now in the NMI (pers comm. Martin Timoney).

Probably medieval in date, the stone head may have been part of a sculpted cross or ecclesiastical monument associated with the early Christian site. Its original meaning or function remains unclear, though it may have had a liturgical or symbolic role.
