Conlon's 1918 survey caught two stones standing seven and a half feet apart, one slightly taller and wider than its partner. They may have marked a boundary, a burial, or a meeting place before anyone thought to measure them. The exact spot has slipped from local memory, leaving only the written dimensions to hold the shape of what stood there.

Conlon (1918, 136, No. 226) recorded two stones in this townland. 'B gallánis 2 feet 6 inches high, 1 foot 10 inches wide, 1 foot 10 inches thick. C gallán is 3 feet 7 inches high, 2 feet 1 inch wide, 1 foot thick. They are 7 feet 6 inches apart'. Exact location not known.
