Rain comes down the bay, touches grass, leaves the stone unchanged. A person may have stood before it, marked distance, waited for news or simply watched the sky change. The stone still does that: it holds its line while the world moves around it.

A standing stone 1.45m high × 0.28m wide × 0.2m thick; N-S. Some small packing stones are visible around the base. Situated on good pasture land on a small knoll which slopes W towards Ballyshannon Bay. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
