A 'Gallaun' was marked on the OS maps on the N slopes of Corrin hill, overlooking Tralee Bay and the adjacent coastal plain. The rough, marshy land in which it stood has recently been reclaimed and there is no trace of the stone. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne.
