What is recorded here

No standing stone is marked on the first Ordnance Survey map, yet the valley still holds the shape of a forgotten marker. It may have fallen, been buried or simply stopped being worth naming. That absence is not emptiness; it is a request to listen for what the land stopped repeating.

There is no trace of the 'Standing Stone' marked on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map. Situated on a level shoulder of a slope rising NW of Carnowen Hill.
