According to Broker (1937, 31), 'Pat D. Buckley - Gallan 3 feet high and 2 feet square; does not look like gallan, but field is called "Gallan Field"'. Thought to be non-antiquity by present landowner who removed it. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
