What is recorded here

Kilcatherine holds a rectangular standing stone aligned northeast to southwest on a high ridge with unbroken views in every direction. Its modest height and narrow width do not diminish its presence, because the ridge itself becomes visible in the stone. A person climbing there would have seen far, marked the place, and left behind a boundary between ordinary land and remembered land.

On top of a high ridge with commanding views in all directions. Rectangular stone aligned NE-SW (H 1.05m; 1.32m x 0.28m). (O'Brien 1970, 20).
