Standing stone in Keelkyle

On the summit of a low hillock overlooking Bearna Dhearg Bay to N. Rounded granite stone, oblong in plan (H 1.2m). Date likely to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1500 BCE), based on the form and context of similar standing stones in the region. Its positioning on a prominent coastal hillock may indicate a ritual or territorial function, possibly linked to landscape marking or ceremonial activity.
