What is recorded here

Gurteenard held two standing stones when Bowman recorded them in 1934, but one stood inside M. Lyon’s land and was later broken and removed. The exact spot has vanished, leaving behind a gap where stone once marked the edge of human memory. What remains is not a monument but a warning about how quickly ownership, forgetting and demolition can erase even the simplest witness.
