Standing stone in Glendalligan

Situated on a NE-facing slope, close to the summit of Maum Pass, which is c. 600m to the W, on the E side of the Monavullagh Mountains. This is a conglomerate stone with a rectangular cross-section (dims. 0.75m x 0.3m; H 1m) oriented NNE-SSW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
