Standing stone in Flemingstown (corkaguiny By., Ballinvoher Ed) is a low, thin slab in wet pasture at the head of the Kilduff valley, not a grand monument but a quiet edge-mark on the mountain slope. It may have guided people through mist, bounded pasture, or simply survived when every wooden fence and road marker disappeared. Its small size and exposed position suggest it was made to be seen, not worshipped.

On the OS maps this stone appears to be marked a little NW of its actual position. It stands in rough wet pastureland on the N slopes of Flemingstown mountain, at the head of the Kilduff valley. It is a low, thin slab measuring 1.18m x an average of .18m at base, and tapering slightly to a rounded top at a height of 1.05m; E-W. The above description is derived from J.
