Standing stone in Fermoyle (dunkerron South By.) is a 1.2m rectangular block in rough boggy land on a west-facing ridge above the Small river in County Kerry. It leans slightly west, has lost part of its top surface, and still occupies a narrow north-east to south-west line. The stone may have marked a boundary, a path or a memory, yet no human name remains attached to it. What is left is a sharp stone edge in wet ground, holding the shape of a choice made before writing.

Recorded in the OSNB (Kilcrohane, 31), but not on the OS maps, this standing stone is located in rough boggy land on a W facing ridge overlooking Small river. A rectangular block, 1.2m high, it inclines slightly to the W. Part of its upper surface has spalled off. It measures .8m wide and .65m thick at base; NW-SE. The above description is derived from A.
