Drominagh North lost its standing stone before memory faded, breaking and vanishing from T. Hartnett's land. The exact spot has escaped notice, leaving behind a hollow where a stone once stood. What remains is the absence itself, a gap in the ground that refuses to be forgotten.

Bowman (1934, 320) recorded standing stone on T. Hartnett's land, '...broken and removed many years ago'. Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
