What is recorded here

In pasture, on a level area towards the top of a ridge. This standing stone (dims. 1.4m x 0.85m; H 2.2m) is rectangular in shape and triangular in plan and is orientated NE-SW. Probably dating to the early Christian period, this standing stone may have functioned as a memorial or waymarker, possibly associated with the nearby cross-slab. Its orientation and location suggest a ritual or symbolic significance within a broader landscape of sacred or territorial markers.
