Convoy Townparks holds a standing stone on fair pasture sloping south, yet no trace remains on the oldest map. The stone may have fallen, buried or vanished before humans stopped measuring the land with brass rules. What is certain is that the field still tilts south and the townparks still exist. The stone itself has become the kind of absence that makes you look twice at ordinary grass.
