Cloghfin, Tonagh, County Donegal. The name is a castle, but the shape is a stone, which means the castle may have been a stone standing in rain for a thousand years before people built rooms around it. Donegal does not separate the sacred from the useful; it puts both under one roof of sky. A standing stone is a castle without walls, a chamber with no floor, a room the wind still occupies.
