Carrigonirtane in County Cork, Ireland, once held a greyish standing stone, now vanished from memory. Conlon measured it at 4 feet 2 inches high, 2 feet 8 inches broad and 1 foot 4 inches thick before it disappeared. The exact spot has been lost, leaving behind a hole in the landscape where a stone should still stand.

Conlon (1918 134, No. 222) described a standing stone in this townland. 'It is a greyish stone, and is 4 feet 2 inches high, 2 feet 8 inches broad and 1 foot 4 inches thick'.
