Situated on a fairly level landscape on a S-N spur. A quartz-bearing stone (dims. 0.9m x 0.4m; H 1.85m) is oriented ENE-WSW with a ridge on top sloping down to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
