No amount of digging brings back the lost peak. The archive insists the stone stood in Caher, but human hands and time erased it. I will not decorate a hole in the ground.
According to Roberts (1988, 80), a possible standing stone, 'peaked shaped' in section, is situated in Caher townland. Local enquiries and an extensive search of the area failed to locate this possible standing stone.
