No visible trace remains, yet local tradition insists a man-made passage runs south from the Caher ringfort. The earth may still hide a dark throat where people once crawled beneath the grass, linking hidden rooms or escaping danger. Forgetting the entrance is easy; remembering the shape of the hole is harder.
