Standing stone in Bleantasour Mountain

Situated in the N-S valley of the headwaters of the Colligan river, with the N-S river c. 70m to the E. This is a conglomerate stone with a triangular cross-section (dims. 1.2m N-S; 0.5m E-W; H 1.2m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
