Smith (1750, 178) recorded a stone 60 yards SE of the stone row (6504), which was roughly midway in size between the largest and smallest stones of the row. Exact location not known. No visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
