What is recorded here

Half a metre wide and a metre and a half tall, the stone still stands in farmland on a south-facing slope in Ballynaglogh East. Its long edge leans from north-north-east to south-south-west, not quite facing the sun but close enough to suggest purpose. People may have set it there to mark a boundary, remember an event or simply watch the seasons change.

In tillage on S-facing slope. Sub-rectangular stone (H 1.5m; 0.57m x 0.25m), long axis NNE-SSW. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork.
