One of two standing stones in Ballybane rises four feet seven inches high, its base swelling to nine feet seven inches around. Bowman measured them forty-nine yards apart in 1934, aligned northwest toward whatever they watched. They still stand inside Mr Lynch's land, exact coordinates lost, but their size and separation remain clear.

One of two standing stones (9883) recorded by Bowman (1934, 390) in 'Mr Lynch's 49 yards apart, orientation NW...4ft 7in high, 9ft 7in in girth at base.' Exact location not known.
