What is recorded here

A tall rectangular stone leans east inside the front garden wall at 20 Ardmahon Estate, its long edge pointing north-northwest. It stands half a metre deep, a metre wide and one and a half metres high, large enough to mark a doorway, a warning or a promise. Houses and gardens have changed around it, but the stone still tilts toward the light like a person remembering where they stood.

Incorporated in wall of front garden of house at 20, Ardmahon Estate. Rectangular stone (H 1.55m; 1.05m x 0.45m), long axis NNW-SSE, leaning to E. (Cremen 1926, 105).
