Standing stone in Ballinacarrig

Marked only on the 1940 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Tara Hill. This stone was recorded in 1940 as a rectangular stump (dims c. 1.4m NW-SE; c. 0.4-0.6m NE-SW; H c. 1-1.1m) with a narrow crest (dims c. 1m NW-SE; c. 0.1-0.2m NW-SE) (OSFM). It was removed c. 1970, and nothing is visible at ground level. The standing stone (WX007-028----) is c. 115m to the NW.
