What is recorded here

This stone stands in a level pasture field less than a half-mile (.8km) NW of Anascaul village. It is 2.73m high and measures 2.26m x .86m at base; E-W. A number of packing stones are visible around the base. The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter.
