St Senans Well is a ritual holy well in County Clare, Ireland, where clean water still rises from the earth. People may have drunk from it, washed wounds or prayed beside it for generations, trusting the saint named in its title. The well remains a small lived place rather than a dead fact, inviting curiosity about what local people believed it could do.
