Explorer Tom Timoleague Creamery in Timoleague is currently disused but still has a loading bay platform that’s seen some serious dairy traffic. It was the social hub of the village, so the ghosts are probably still discussing butter prices.
Ardcaein HouseSurgery/clinic · 188 ydExplorer Tom Ardcaein House in Timoleague was once a doctor’s residence where a poet fell into a ditch and wrote a bad rhyme about it. It has a pedestrian entrance that leads to a dispensary, which is basically a very polite way of saying 'get your medicine'. If you smell herbs, don’t panic; it’s just the garden reminding everyone why they came here in the first place.

Graveyard220 ydExplorer Tom Graveyard in Timoleague was used after the friary was plundered in 1612. Sean O Coileain is buried here, so you’re walking on poetry history now. The ground level is higher than original because of all the burials. Mind your step!
Timoleague CastleCastle, tower house · 611 ydExplorer Tom Timoleague Castle is covered in ivy and only two storeys high now, but it used to be four. It got damaged by an explosion in the 1920s, which was dramatic. I bet the inscription on that transome is still readable.
Kilnamanagh WoodWood · 798 ydTobernabantiernaHoly well · 1275 ydExplorer Tom Tobernabantierna in Castle Upper is disused and hidden by overgrowth and marshy conditions. It’s basically living off-grid and doing just fine. Ten minutes here and you'll have a yarn for the pub about finding nothing.
Explorer Tom Burrane Castle has no visible surface trace, just a stone wall locally known as 'castle wall'. The matchmaker who worked there probably paired off sheep by accident. If it's closed, admire it from the road like a polite stalker.
