St. Luke's Well at Knockmoylan is traditionally associated with St. Luke the Evangelist and was historically visited for its supposed healing properties, particularly for eye ailments. The well, like many similar sites, may have pre-Christian origins and was likely a focus of local pilgrimage and seasonal rituals.
