St. John's Well, Toberleheen is associated with St. John the Baptist and was traditionally visited on St. John's Eve (23–24 June) for healing and protection rituals. The site, like others in the group, was likely linked to local Christian and pre-Christian traditions, with the hawthorn bush possibly symbolizing sacred or protective qualities.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
