St. Dominick's Well is traditionally associated with St. Dominick (or Dominique), a 16th-century French mystic and reformer linked to the Dominican Order, though local traditions may conflate him with earlier saints. Holy wells named after Dominick are often connected to miraculous cures and healing rituals, with visitors commonly leaving coins or making offerings at the site.
