St. Columbkilles Well is associated with St. Columba, a 6th-century Irish saint known for his missionary work in Scotland and parts of Ireland. Holy wells dedicated to him often feature traditions of healing and pilgrimage, with water believed to have curative properties for ailments such as skin conditions and eye troubles.
