St. Bridgets Well

Located in the middle of a low-lying field with open field drain leading off the well to the SE. Concrete steps lead down to the well. No visible sign of any votive offerings at the well. Linked to St. Brigid of Kildare, a major figure in early Irish Christianity, the well is associated with traditional healing practices and fertility rites. St. Brigid's wells were often sites of pilgrimage and were believed to offer cures for ailments, particularly those related to women's health and childbirth.
