Semi-detached three-bay two-storey over basement house, built c. 1860, having gabled end-bay with portico to west elevation. Gabled and canted end-bay to south elevation, west end. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystacks. Half-hipped slate roof to portico. Painted rendered walls with render plinth course, quoins and ornate foliate plaques to gable corners. Camber-headed openings to first floor, some with one-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows, some with two-over-two pane, having render continuous sill course and painted stone sills. Round-headed openings to ground floor, having render impost course and painted stone sills. Square-headed openings to basement floor having timber casement windows. Carved timber columns to portico with camber-headed opening having timber panelled door. Flight of rendered steps to entrance. Rendered boundary walls with square-profile rendered piers.

The house is part of a group of late nineteenth century housing which sprung up in this area following the arrival of the railway and the establishment of Youghal as a fashionable sea side resort. It retains its original form and character, together with important salient features and materials.
