Cairn and wedge tomb, west Cork, recorded 1842, still without a visible mark. Toormore Bay light falls across the pasture where the stones may have stood, and a person may have placed a stone there before the land forgot the shape. What is missing is not nothing; it is the difference between a point on a map and a place the body can answer.

Wedge tomb; likely dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its proximity to another recorded wedge tomb suggests it may be part of a broader funerary landscape along the west Cork coast.
