Complex of detached single-storey multiple-bay outbuildings, built c.1820, set in U-plan arrangement around central yard, with buildings to east, south and west. Pitched slate roofs with rubble limestone bellcote to northern gable of eastern range, having overhanging canopy to western range and pitched corrugated-steel roof to southern range. Rubble stone walls. Segmental and square-headed openings to eastern range, having dressed stone and redbrick voussoirs to northern end with some timber battened fittings. Square-headed openings to western range with dressed stone voussoirs, timber casement windows and double-leaf timber battened doors. Segmental-arched openings to southern range with dressed limestone voussoirs. Cobbles to front yard of west range. Set to rear of Shandy House.

The variety of related outbuildings in this farmyard complex forms an interesting and diverse group. The survival of many notable features and materials, such as slate roofs, limestone bellcote, and timber fittings enhances the group. It contributes much to the setting and context of Shandy House.
