Dripsey Br

Road bridge (Wth 3.95m) over Dripsey River. Six semicircular arches (average span 3.1m), reducing gently in size to E; three overflow arches at E end. Rough voussoirs; low pointed breakwaters; corbels on some piers to support centering for arch during construction. Bridge width extended 3.5m to S in similar design with roughly dressed voussoirs. River bed paved beneath bridge. According to local information, bridge blown up in 1920s. Upright stone with bench mark embedded in parapet.
