Settlement deserted is a settlement deserted (medieval) in Kilfithmone (Glenkeen parish), Kilfithmone (Kilfithmone parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. The 2002 inventory recorded the site on a low rise in undulating countryside with good views in all directions. It also recorded no visible earthworks at ground level. Historical accounts identify Fythmothan as a town community owing payments in 1318 and 1338, while the 1654-6 Civil Survey called Kilfithmone an ancient manor with court privileges.

Situated on a low rise of ground in undulating countryside with good views in all directions. In 1318 the community of the town of Fythmothan and Burgageferne owed 3.6s. 8d for an escape and in 1338 the Burgesses of Fethmothan render 2 marks and 22d in time of peace (Bradley 1985, 57). The Civil Survey (1654-6) refers to Kilfithmone as an 'ancient Mannor haveing ye prvilege of a court leet and Court baron by pattent from the Crowne as wee are informed' (Simington 1931, vol. 1, 73).
