Detached five-bay two-storey Tudor Revival former school, built 1849. Comprising of three-central bays flanked by gabled and projecting terminating bays. Snecked limestone walls, with ashlar quoins and dressings, carved limestone plaques and label mouldings. Pitched slate roof with single and paired ashlar chimneystacks. Square-headed mullioned windows with stone sills. Tudor arched door opening with timber battened door.

This former model national school was designed by Frederick Darley. The irregular façade is clearly architectural in its form and execution. The carved detailing of the label mouldings, the doorcase, the plaques and slender ashlar chimneystacks exhibit a quality and skill which were the work of a skilled craftsman. Inscription above entrance reads: 'Trim Model National Schools 1849'.
