What is recorded here

Terraced two-bay four-storey former house, built c. 1830, now in use as retail outlet. Pitched slate roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls having channelled render detail to upper floors, c. 1980. Segmental-arched openings with timber sash windows. Replacement shopfront, c. 1980, to ground floor.
This former house forms part of an imposing group with the adjoining former houses to the east and west, due to the scale and form of the buildings. Though now altered to the ground floor, the upper levels of the building remain of architectural heritage significance. This former house retains many interesting features and materials, such as the slate roof, segmental-arched openings, and timber sash windows.
