Square-profile water tower and playground shelter, built 1956. Flat roofs and roughcast rendered walls. Concrete columns to open side of shelter. Cast-iron pivot circular window.

This water tower and playground shelter relate to the national school to the site. They are representative of the related structures which were built with national schools throughout Ireland in the mid twentieth century. The pair of structures retain the original concrete columns and steel window, which are interesting features.
