What is recorded here

Detached single-storey house, built c. 1880. Pitched and hipped slate roofs with decorative eaves course. Red brick walls. Timber casement windows. Timber glazed door with elaborate door surround.
Set within its own grounds, this building forms part of an interesting group of brick built structures with the former railway worker's houses and locomotive works to the east and with the former brewery to the south. This house was probably built as a manager's house for one of these two industries. The house retains much of its original character and charm.

This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
