Freestanding double-height Roman Catholic church, date 1846, with four-bay side elevation, gabled porch to front and lean-to sacristy to side. Pitched slate roof with rendered bellcote, pinnacles, cut-stone gable copings, cast-iron rainwater goods and clay ridge cresting. Rendered walls with render quoins, hood mouldings and inset plaque. Lancet windows with timber Y-tracery and coloured glass. Timber doors. Retaining interior features, including exposed timber hammer beam roof and reredos.
