Ryfield Stony Island is a crannog in Lough Ramor, County Cavan, Ireland. It is a subrectangular island c. 25m NE-SW and c. 20m NW-SE, sitting c.80m from the shoreline. All OS editions depict it. The Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan describes it. People may have lived there, fled storms there, or marked routes past it. The lake kept the island separate while the shore waited for boats.
